The Getaway Salon & Tanning began as a humble family owned and operated business on the North side of Middlebury in 2005. Starting with 6 tanning beds, Renee grew the business to 8 beds, a stand-up unit and a salon with two stylist chairs. The Getaway's commitment to putting guests first grew the business beyond its walls, and it moved to its current location in 2013. The new location has provided the room for the salon to grow, allowing room for more cosmetologists, tanning beds, and services. Blessed by the guests that continue to make their business blossom, the Getaway continues to pledge loyalty, honesty, and commitment to put the guest first above all else.
